My Story
The first time I ever visited the cinema I was 5 years old and my old man took me to see a double bill of Star Wars followed by the new sequel The Empire Strikes Back. I can still remember it to this day some (cough) 40 plus years later. I can also remember subsequent trips to see films such as Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Tron, The Never Ending Story, ET and many many more!

However it wasn't until I was about 10 years old I watched a copy of Alien on VHS and was so scarred that after it ended I wasn't able to move for fear of being attacked by a face hugger, so I sat staring at the screen and began to note as the credits were playing, all the people and various departments involved. Then it began to dawn on me that the movie magic thing was simply hundreds and hundreds of individuals doing their jobs. So if they could be involved why not me!

But as a kid growing up in Swindon, Hollywood was a dream away so I settled into a life of being appreciative of the films I watched and left a dream of being involved as just that, a dream. It wouldn't be until years later, when I had a chance encounter with one of my favourite actors by the name of Thomas Jane, that everything started to change.

I was lucky enough to find myself in a position where I could use some of my technical knowledge to support Thomas with his company Raw Studios, which put me on a path that led me to be more involved in Raw and later with Thomas and Courtney Lauren Penn's new production company, Renegade Entertainment.

My world continued to expand further as I began to see how the production of films occur along with bringing introductions to some fantastic writers, creating the opportunity for me to work on some independent features and short films and found myself here writing this...
